1. JUNIOR IT TECHNICIAN

A company based in Bloemfontein is looking for a junior IT technician. The successful candidate will be someone who is passionate about IT technologies and is willing to learn.

Job specification

* Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
* Repairing or replacing damaged hardware
* Managing technical queries from clients and colleagues
* Setting up new PC's and user profiles
* Setting up basic network switches and routers

Candidate Requirements

* Minimum requirements: Matric certificate with CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ or Higher.
* Additional ICT-related qualifications will be an advantage.
* Own transport with valid driver's license
* Fluent in both Afrikaans and English
* Some experience in the ICT sector is an advantage
* Passion for technology
* Highly motivated and target driven
* Willing to learn and take direction from senior colleagues
* Comfortable speaking to clients
* Presentable and well spoken
* Must be able to work well under pressure

2. SENIOR IT TECHNICIAN

A company based in Bloemfontein is looking for a senior IT technician. The successful candidate will be someone who is passionate about IT technologies and is willing to learn.

Job specification

* Advanced fault finding and troubleshooting on hardware and software issues
* Repairing or replacing damaged hardware
* Managing technical queries from clients and colleagues
* Maintain Servers, VLAN▒s, Exchange and other high level applications and solutions
* Setting up Firewalls, switches, Access Points (AP▒s), Cloud PBXes and routers
* Monitoring of ICT infrastructure, devices and systems using specialist software
* Project management
* Perform and compile feasibility studies
* Perform research on devices, technologies and business solutions as requested
* Preparing ad hoc reports as requested by management
* Compiling progress reports as requested by management
* Assisting and mentoring junior staff
* Performing system and security audits
* Compile technical documentation of ICT infrastructure, devices and systems
* Working with various business partners and using their partner software
* Attending, leading and organising technical meetings with clients



Candidate Requirements

* Minimum requirements: Matric certificate with CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ or Higher.
* Additional ICT-related qualifications will be an advantage.
* Knowledge of MS Servers, Linux, Firewalling, Vlan's Mass Storage
*Knowledge of VoIP backend communication and network connections would be an advantage
* Own transport with valid driver's license
* Fluent in both Afrikaans and English
* Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the ICT sector
* Passion for technology
* Highly motivated and target driven
* Willing to learn and take direction from senior colleagues
* Comfortable speaking to clients
* Presentable and well spoken
* Must be able to work well under pressure
